Museion – medical museum
In a generous collaboration with Martin Grünfeld at Museion, the Medical Museum, and his experimental exhibition project The Living Room, we were invited to work and take part in his project. https://www.museion.ku.dk/the-living-room/
We could study the archival collection at the museum and had the chance to work closer with objects we chose for photogrammetry/ 3D scanning. The pieces chosen to develop into 3D models were support corsets for children who had bone pneumonia in the 18th.century. We talked about how the corsets would have a new funktion as support structure for the mycelium we added to the material when 3D printing it. The pieces are now left to grow for six moths until summer 2023.

In April 2023 the sculpture cabinet was moved from the basement setting in the Living Room, to an outdoor setting in the beautiful garden behind the Medical Musion.
