3D Print with mycelium
After two years of research, learning new tools, new programming languages and new materials, together with a lot of trial and error, dead ends, and some great help from our research partners at other institutions, we can finally print as we want.
We have been using the following equipment and programs for our 3D print research and experiments: Universal Robots UR10e with custom mount and Wasp 8mm nozzle, MAI 2Pump Pictor 3D pump printing a 3D scan sliced in PrusaSlicer adapted for UR Toolpaths with a custom Grasshopper script.
