In august 2020 we had received our Universal Robots UR10e Cobot, and had 3D Printed at camera mount so our Sony A7III with a Sony Macro lens could be attached. This is an example of one of our sweeps across two petri dishes and a 3D print of a scanned petri dish.

There’s noticeable micro-jitters from the robot caused by the weight of the robot arm and camera combined with the stepper-motor resolution and the long focal length of the lens. We think using a gimbal or rubber band shock absorbers could help with alleviating this problem.
